Mometasone

mometasone furoate monohydrate (50ug/do) for sinusitis

Got this nasal spray for a sinus/nasal infection. Reduced the pain in my head but the infection was difficult to overcome (I'd already had it 3 months). After using antibiotics (amoxicillin) I finally recovered. I did get nose bleeds though, but that was in the patient information leaflet. Given that I had side effects and it didn't make me better, I stopped.

Flixonase

fluticasone propionate (1mg/ml) for sinusitis

my nose is bunged up every night (= higher risk of lung infections for COPD patients). I only use this in the evening. Has absolutely no effect compared to something like xylometazoline (they can't be taken too soon after each other).
