Clarithromycin

clarithromycin (500mg) for complication after operation

After having skin cancer removed I developed a skin infection 2 weeks later. The GP gave me Claritomycine 2 x 500 mg a day. Within one hour of taking the first one the side effects started: nausea, windy, bitter taste. Only managed 7 of the 14 capsules because my tongue was so sore (white and split).

Flucloxacillin

flucloxacillin sodium (500mg) for complication after operation

Following surgery I had to take this medicine 3 x a day. As a result, I developed an allergic reaction to it. Intestinal infection, high fever and continual headache.
