Paroxetine

Paroxetine (20mg) for depression

When I first took paroxetine there were no problems. I stopped taking it cold turkey and started taking it again after about one year. then I noticed spots all over my body, starting on my lower legs and arms. I tried applying various salves but that didn't help so I had a biopsy. the dermatologist said it's a kind of psoriasis. So I switched to fluoxetine and I was given a course of prednisone for my skin. That helped with the symptoms and they haven't come back. We don't know if the skin problems happened because of the paroxetine. But the dermatologist said that it was possible that after taking it for a year, the body could start to produce antibodies once I started taking it again.
