Pantoprazole

Pantoprazole (40mg) for oesophagitis

This drug was prescribed by my GP to help calm my stomach. I had an irritated oesophagus in my upper breastbone. GP thought that it was caused by my stomach. The symptoms certainly went away. But after using this drug for a few days, I began to get increasingly nauseous. firstly just in the evenings, then in the mornings too. As the days progressed, the times when I had no problems whatsoever became less and less. Headache. A bit of a numb feeling. I also had concentration problems. On top of that this drug has obstipation as one of its side effects. After 8 days I saw another doctor and was prescribed a less strong drug.
