Simvastatin

1/10/2017 | | 69moderated by Henry
Simvastatin (40mg) for high cholesterol

the longer this goes on the more and more symptoms I'm developing. Cramps in my hands, feet and calves, muscle pain in my arms and legs and hip, difficulty getting to sleep, heartburn after taking the simvastatin. Libido has disappeared out the window, bruising under my skin when I bump into anything. poor concentration, drastic reduction in my strength. I stopped 8 weeks ago and the physical symptoms are as good as gone. Discussed it with the GP, this can't be what this medicine is designed for. Is this even "medicine"? I am never taking simvastatin again. I now watch what I eat and consume as little saturated fat as possible. Make note: small amount of chicken, plenty of greens, fruit 3 x a day, whole grain bread etc.
