Tamoxifen (20mg) for breast cancer

Started on tamoxifen in November 2012. At the beginning I had loads of hot flushes which lasted for about 6 months before it got a bit better. But I started putting on weight really quickly. After 1 year I tried to switch over to anastrozol. But that gave me lots of grief with stiff muscles and joints. Tried exemestane, problems stayed. Then it was back on to tamoxifen 20 mg. Now it's 5 years on and I'll be able to stop soon. Breast cancer has stayed away, luckily. I have had tablets from a different company a few times and they gave me really bad tinnitus. So I spoke to the pharmacist and he agreed to make sure I always get the same brand.
