Problems for years but even with investigation the cause was not to be found even after two courses of antibiotics, I wasn't prescribed any medication because of the lack of diagnosis. Then I had an endoscopy without any confirmed abnormalities (which was good, no bowel cancer, no Crohn's and no polyps) the treating doctor heard about my story and gave me a prescription. That solved all my problems, clock was turned back 15 years as far as my bowels are concerned.
