Lyrica

Pregabalin (150mg) for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

May 20, 2015 chainsaw trauma to my left wrist. Nervus medianus damaged. After 3 weeks diagnosed with Sudeck's. One year of experimentation with medication, plasters, Neurontin, betablockers, etc neurostimulator until it was finally decided that Lyrica was the best option. The pain is still there and sometimes it won't go away but then I take oxynorm and OxyContin until it does go. We are still trying to figure it out but it's really difficult. Sad to think that in 12 years no medical advances have been made. Using this medicine in the long term has meant that my large intestine has had to be removed and I now have an ileostomy and lots of medication. But sometimes life can still be great.
