Made to switch to another manufacturer of this medicine because the pharmacist had signed a new contract with the supplier under pressure from the insurers to use the cheapest medicines. Taking Metformine Hcz Sandoz 500 mg makes me feel bloated and often gives me diarrhoea. The Metformine tablets Hci 500 mg from Apothecon didn't have this effect on me but I can't get this from my pharmacist any more.
