Metoprolol (50mg) for atrial fibrillation

I've had loads of problems with heart flutters and atrial fibrillation and was admitted to hospital where my heart rate was returned to normal, as a result I had to take metoprolol which made me really tired and short of breath. After a while my body got used to it and things got better, but I'm still severely restricted in the activities I can manage, after just one day of work I was totally exhausted. since switched over to verapamil which I can cope with better and I've asked if I can have an ablation.
