I have taken this medicine quite happily for 9 years. Gradually started getting pain in my legs and over time the problem has got worse. It started with restless legs but now I can't hardly walk any more. I didn't make the link to Simvastatine. It was only when I saw a TV programme that I realised Simvastatine could be to blame. I stopped taking it straight away and after a week and a half I was symptom-free. I haven't used cholesterol lowering medicine since.
