I have gained 15 kg since I started thin medicine and suffer with shortness of breath, poor sleep and feeling of fullness, heavy legs (water retention). Now even 3 weeks after stopping taking this medicine, it still hasn't had the desired effect: blood pressure and heart rate high; although I do feel less full. My GP has started me on furosemide and if this doesn't work then restart metoprolol and back to the cardiologist for more tests.
