Crestor

Rosuvastatin (10mg) for high cholesterol

Because I felt like I was having really bad side effects with sim/atorvastatin, I was moved on to Crestor (rosuvastatin) by my cardiologist. I started on 20/4. On holiday I was up to 24/4 when I developed severe muscle pain but I couldn't reach my doctor. I carried on taking them regardless and didn't have any further problems. Perhaps the side effects were due to the fact that the atorvastatin hadn't fully left my system yet, but I haven't had any other problems with it. Whether it's effective or not has not yet been checked.
