Tramadol (50mg) for broken bone

Because I broke three vertebrae, the GP prescribed me 50 mg Tramadol. The first day I took three tablets and the following morning just one. Then I had severe side effects/allergic reactions. In one 24-hour period nauseous and vomiting, cold sweats, talking with a thick tongue, I was really worried for myself. The "emergency" doctor gave me something intravenously. It took three days before the withdrawal symptoms went away.
