Candesartan

Candesartan (8mg) for migraine

After using tonnes of other medicines that were prescribed for me by my GP, I was referred to a neurologist. Straight away I was given candesartan. On the doses of 8 and 16 mg I barely noticed a difference, but when I increased to 24 mg I noticed a considerable improvement. The attacks are less frequent and aren't as long, and the pain isn't as great. During the first weeks I did have headaches but they have all gone now. I do often have a runny nose, especially at night, but I'm not sure if this is caused by the candesartan because I take lots of other medicines as well.
