After having a coil inserted all l had was problems. I had really heavy flow (which led to anaemia). Libido considerably reduced. I became depressed. GP didn't take it seriously, coil needed to stay in. With the consequence that it spontaneously fell out after 7 months. The blood clots pushed it out. I was really happy with the coil because you can have it in for 5 years. But at the end of the day it only caused me grief and pain.
