Quetiapine (50mg) for psychosis

Because of psychosis (delusions) I started taking Seroquel 50XR. Really quickly, within 2 weeks, my symptoms had disappeared. I am really happy despite the fact that I tire easily and gain weight and have a reduced libido.

Haldol

Haloperidol (1mg) for psychosis

I've used this medication for over a year now and I’m pleased as long as I don’t take too much. I got the prescription for psychoses and unrest. I also have ADD. In the reviews I read I see lots of people using a very high dosage, at first I took 2 mg which was actually too high. Taking it just before going to bed works best for me. I sleep just fine. At the start it gave me really strange thou...

Aripiprazole (10mg) for psychosis

Hello, I started a 2 week cure today, taking 1 tablet a day and one injection of Abilify Maintena of 400 mg in my buttock. It wasn't really painful, it just feels stiff. I have many psychoses, during which I hear many voices at the same time and it drives me crazy. I hope this cure helps. Experiences anyone? Please let me know.

Quetiapine

Quetiapine (25mg) for psychosis

After taking just 1 tablet, I suddenly became extremely tired. After falling asleep it was really difficult to fully wake up again. Had really bad pain on my chest and was fading in and out. I called the GP and an ambulance was sent for me. The ECG was all over the place, so bad that it was faxed to the hospital in Zwolle and a cardiologist got in touch. Advice: drink plenty of water to get the...

Olanzapine (2,5mg) for psychosis

See zyprexa; basically the same effect. I'd rather not take it. Taking this medicine is basically like living with a ticking time bomb.

Abilify

Aripiprazole (15mg) for psychosis

As far as I am concerned, the side effects I get from Ablify (15 mg per day) are that I am a bit heavier, but certainly not as much as I was with zyprexa. In addition I am able to concentrate much better and have absolutely no other side effects.

Invega

Paliperidone (6mg) for psychosis

I have totally lost all my drive and motivation. It can't be down to anything else apart from this medicine. I've been using it for 2 months now. As a replacement for olanzapine which made me drowsy. My experiences with Invega are even worse, I am totally exhausted and have absolutely no energy at all. But there's nothing to be done about it. I take it as an anti-psychotic and I'm due to go to ...

Paliperidone (100mg/ml) for psychosis

I have had a really bad experience with this medicine, I have nightmares about it. it made me short of breath, it made me suddenly start smoking, Pain at the injection site, I was sweating a lot, I got really fat and couldn't handle anything at all. Doesn't say this anywhere. I've been off it for a few years now but I still suffer with sweating. i am also annoyed at the health service for doing...

Abilify

7/18/2016 | | 37moderated by Philip
Aripiprazole (15mg) for psychosis

In no time at all, abilify made me gain 15 kg. For the first half year I was on it I had severe hair loss. On top of that I was sluggish and drowsy and was always getting bad stomach pains followed by horrendous diarrhoea. My emotions were all deadened and I had muscle pain in my calves and sore soles of my feet which meant I couldn't walk very far or for long. And abilify is also laughably exp...

Haldol

Haloperidol (40mg/ml) for psychosis

I'm really struggling with this medicine. And continually absent and tired. My feelings are deadened. I hardly feel any love, happiness, joy, pleasure in my life, not even when I with my 5-year-old son. This drug has completely taken away my personality that made me so depressed I just want to die. The doctor seems to think it's effective so I've been forced to keep taking it.
