Degarelix (80mg) for prostate cancer

I had this injection on 3 May 2017 and it went wrong after 5 minutes, terrible shooting pain, I couldn't walk, sit or lie which meant I had to be hospitalised. Doctors hadn't seen this 'allergic' reaction before and didn't know what to say, which is why I was admitted. Side effects started 2 hours after the injection and lasted 5 to 10 days. Degarelix (80mg) for prostate cancer

18 months ago I developed bone metastases, quite serious: ribs, collar cone, shoulder blade, spine and right-sided bone structure. My PSA was 3645 µg/ml. I carried on throughout the treatment despite the pain and discomfort because it was clear to me that this medicine might save my life. My PSW is now 3.9 µg/ml and according to the bone scan, the metastases are disappearing. Painful injections...
