Amitriptyline

Amitriptyline (25mg) for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

I take 25 mg of amitriptyline because of IBS. The IBS gives me loads of stomach pains and almost daily diarrhoea. Since I've been taking this medicine I have less stomach ache and better stools. So this is where I really notice a difference. The stomach pains haven't completely disappeared but they are less severe. Also I haven't had any migraines since taking amitriptyline. Coincidence or not,...

Tramadol

Tramadol (50mg) for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

Tramadol is a pretty effective painkilling medicine. The first few days light-headed and sleepy. Afterwards calming and takes the pain away. Not totally.
