Levonorgestrel (19,5mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

I am definitely not impressed with the mirena, I've had it now for about a year and a half and I have a period practically every week. So over this.

No pain having it inserted, 1 period since Feb 2016, 3 days and only spotting. Would recommend, no more back ache, period pains, nothing.

Because of severe anaemia due to heavy blood loss the gynaecologist inserted a mirena. The insertion was sensitive but there weren't any other problems with it, no back or stomach pains. Then the side effects started; in the first week I had one migraine, throughout it I had a feeling of constant pressure on the back of my head and ears. having this put in, for me, was pure hell, a lot of pain and blood loss, the stomach pain lasted for weeks, although tbf the flow was loads less, been to different gps because of the stomach pain, still annoying, now half a year later still got stomach pain, painful, heavy breasts, lots of discharge, unpleasant smell, really itchy, i get my period 5 x a month depending on the context, coming we...
