Candesartan (Candesartan)
High blood pressure
At first I experienced no side effects for about a month, then the following problems started. Dizziness, feeling insecure, excess urinating, painful crotch, no libido, shrinking of the penis to minimum size. After 3 months of use there was no lowering of my blood pressure.

Candesartan (Candesartan)
Migraine
Because of several migraines a week, including with aura, I tried propranolol (160 mg/day) for the first time. It wasn't successful at all because of the side effects. Then the neurologist suggested I try candesartan and this worked brilliantly. Very rarely a minor sore throat and mild dizziness (mostly when I started using it) but now no more problems. I haven't had any m[read more...]igraines with aura since October (7 months ago) and only a couple without aura. Very happy!

Candesartan (Candesartan)
Migraine
After using tonnes of other medicines that were prescribed for me by my GP, I was referred to a neurologist. Straight away I was given candesartan. On the doses of 8 and 16 mg I barely noticed a difference, but when I increased to 24 mg I noticed a considerable improvement. The attacks are less frequent and aren't as long, and the pain isn't as great. During the first week[read more...]s I did have headaches but they have all gone now. I do often have a runny nose, especially at night, but I'm not sure if this is caused by the candesartan because I take lots of other medicines as well.
